District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Pfutsero was established in the year 2006 and officially inaugurated on 29^th June 2007 by the then Hon’ble Home minister Mr.Thenucho. District institute of education and training (DIET),Pfutsero under Phek District is situated at an altitude of 2,133 meters above sea level. The institute is located 2 km away from the main town of Pfutsero, the campus covers an area of 10 Acres. The Administrative building has Principal office ,Vice-Principal office, Faculty Staff rooms, ministerial staff rooms , library cum study room, three class rooms, TLM room, ICT room, science lab. There are two Staff Quarters, one staff hostel, one boys hostel with an intake capacity of 25 trainees and one girls hostel with an intake capacity of 12 trainees.
