A humble beginning of DIET, Pfutsero for the Phek district has completed 12 productive years. Besides imparting training and updating the trainees with the new development of approaches in the field of teaching, we too realize that the role of teachers in the new millennium has become multifaceted and challenging. To play this role effectively, we at DIET Pfutsero strive to equip the teachers with

the appropriate knowledge , attitude , values, and to acknowledge the humans qualities of selflessness, humility, empathy , integrity and good behaviour which are to be practiced in day to day life. It is increasingly important that education addresses the spiritual consciousness of every trainees to nurture the perfection whether one should not only develop the necessary competency as a teacher but also have a desire for life long learning and for reaching the unreached.

“To learn is to change ” is the watch word of our institution and we aim at every individual to adapt to the changes that are taking place in every field. In the words of swami Vivekananda “ Education is the manifestation of perfection already in men”.So if men is learnt perfect and has innate perfection within him , it is for the institution , the home and the society , to nurture that perfection within everyone who seeks education

It is indeed challenging for us , to prepare our trainees for a future we will not live to see.
